Bachelorette...Spoiler Alert: GUYS TELL ALL!

from l to r: Me, Dylana, and Cindy (aka: the bunny whisperer)

The much anticipated guys tell all was last night. I have to say, it was a bit of a let down. I was at my friend/neighbor, Cindy's, house along with another friend/neighbor, Dylana. It was good to have all the fun girl talk. I think we paused this show more to have our own conversation than we did actual discussing of the show!

Let's start with a comment from Cindy. She wondered if Chris Harris was gay, to which I replied, no because he is married. She did point out that he has woman hands and doesn't like that on men...........now all I can focus on is his hands!
Moving on...All those men...they aren't bad on the eyes.

Poor Twilley. I feel bad for him for how he clammed up on the show, but he looked pretty good on this episode.

They are showing all the scenes where they all gang up on Jeremy...
Jeremy in hot seat: "Captain D-Bag" says Robert. Trust me, I could come up with way worse names for Robert than I could for Jeremy. Jeremy seems to be handling himself pretty good in the hot seat. All the guys are up in arms because he would interrupt their one on one time with DeAnna. I am not a fan of Ron, but I did like what he said, :
Ron: in a group environment there are different rules. We weren't there to win a prize, a piece of meat.... No matter what we have all seen of Jeremy, get back out there. I thought that was really sweet of him to say. I think Jeremy will be the next bachelor!

Wine break:

we finished the bottle of barefoot wine. IT was good. Now we are on the Oops wine that smells like butt and kind of tastes like it too. Dylana says she needs to hold her nose when she drinks it.

Moving right along, they are now showing when Jeremy had to say goodbye, he gets a little emotional seeing that again! Even though I don't really like him, I feel for him. He seems like a good guy and I hope, like Ron said, that he moves on and meets someone new. I hope he is the next bachelor!
Jer: "I still don't know if I can look at her"

Graham is up next:
Graham is up on the hot seat! It is hard to watch the playbacks of him. Oh, the bench scene. Oh, the letter...

He said that he made a lot of effort for her, but he wanted her to say it was a "we" problem, not a "me" problem. Love that he said he was more of a Jimmy Kimmel fan instead of an Ellen fan. (in case you don't remember, Ellen said that he would have communication problems and that DeAnna should watch out for that...Ellen if very intuitive!)
Graham is trying to defend himself by saying that since he allowed her to meet his family, it took a lot of him opening up. That is a good point, but why the Eeyore moments?
They are now going to discuss the letter: BORING, he just said it was how he felt, the last week of their relationship, he thinks it would have meant the world to her, if she read, and that he opened up...I wanted them to read it!

DeAnna is in the hot seat: like the dress, don't like the belt.
Man, that has to be hard for her to look at Jeremy and Graham.

Jeremy to D: when did you know i Was not the one for you?

D: It wasn't until I was on a date with Jason and Jesse that I knew I was in love with them. As it got further and things progressed, my heart didn't. I wanted there to be something there so badly...OUCH!!!

Graham to D: what happened to you two?
D: he was always the guy that I couldn't have. (She seems so over Graham now. Did ya'll notice that?)
They are totally arguing, but they need to makeout. "You are pissed," says Chris. She things G is acting like it doesn't matter to be here. I really thought Graham handled himself pretty well out there. He seemed like he was really trying to explain his side without placing blame on DeAnna. DeAnna, in my opinion, did not agree with me. She seemed to get really mad at him for some reason. Interesting. Maybe I was wrong about her being over him!

Chris Harris: Did anything romantic happen with you and the guys while in the house:

Jeremy came to her room to give her a kiss
Paul took a bath in her tub while she was away.

They are once again talking about the BBQ Blowout which I will ignore because I am so over that!
I love the bloopers! We got to see Ryan (the virgin) juggling and dropping a ball on his manliness, DeAnna burping, Chris Harris making DeAnna crack up about Sean's mullet and Ron making fun of Sean's martial arts obsession.
Deanna: I am happy, I am in love and I am engaged!!! (Jeremy looked like he would throw up.)

Can't wait for next week. My prediction is that she will choose Jesse. I still feel like Jason might have some underlying issues.
Until next time, comment away!

Bachelorette...Spoiler Alert: From 3 to 2 - Overnight Getaways

Holy Moly! Tonight will be another 2 parter...First we have the overnight getaways, then we have the guys tell all. I can't wait to see if Graham is there and if they read the note!! DRAMA MAMA! I can hardly believe the show is almost over! I am over at my neighbor's house, Cindy, with another neighbor, Dylana. It is good watching the show with Dave, but guys don't get as worked up over this mess as us girls do!

So, I predict that Jeremy will go home...well, I want Jeremy to go home, but I am hate to type that I really think it will be Jesse. Man, I hope I'm wrong. I think it is a great catch!

Oh yeah, I am blogging live!

The getaway dates were in the Grand Bahama Islands! They started with Jeremy:

After some fun at sea, they sit on the beach. DeAnna's main goal with Jeremy was to have fun and stop being so serious. Can't blame her, the hometown date was so totally serious and sad, remember he read that journal... Jeremy is totally clamming up. He has the same Eeyore syndrome that Graham had last week. Not good. Their whole date was awkward. What's up with the cheese-fest-it seems like they are on a blind date with the pitiful excuse for a conversation they are having! I think Jeremy really wants to open up but he is really nervous. Not the time to get the nerves buddy! He said, "Ii would tell you I'm falling in love with you, but that has already happened." You can't deny that Jeremy is a great guy, I still think this is not the avenue to start dating again for the first time since your mom's death. Right now, things don't look good for him.

He accepts the overnight date.

kissy kissy, shut the door...do ya'll wonder how far they go on these overnight dates? I am naive and think they don't do the big deed...that should be kept until marriage, but my friends over here are not so sure! Stay respectful DeAnna!!!

Jason was up next and they once again had a great reunion. It was a running hug complimented my the drama music ABC is know for!!! They talked about Ty, who hoped daddy would get a rose! Then they went off roading. They should have given that adventure to Jeremy's date - it might have given it the excitement it was lacking! How fun was that pulley dock thing that took them to the dock island!?!

Dylana, my neighbor, just said, "I hope they brought bug spray!" Good call!

After they had their picnic, they went kayaking, where they weren't so successful at first, but then got control. You can tell a few things during the kayaking. First, DeAnna likes to be in control. Second, Jason is really sweet and patient with her. If Dave and I were kayaking, I would be yelling directions and he would be trying to jump out to get away from me! Yikes!

They are having such a better date than Jeremy. Their conversation is so much better, they seem like they are having fun! Jason said, "If you want to talk about TY we can, but I want to talk about us!...the two most important subject in my life are Deanna and Ty." You could tell DeAnna totally loved that. She is so smiley on this date. They are having fun but also really enjoying each other and opening up. Jason just gave DeAnna a sand dollar necklace. That was so nice that he took the time to guy her something. A girl always loves jewelry! Jason just said that he is falling in love again...

OK, that is where my hesitation is. For Jason, this is all going to be second for him. He has already been married...already gotten his wife pregnant...already seen the birth of his first child... That is all fine, but does DeAnna want to be second to all that. As great as Jason is, there is always baggage from a first marriage. I'm talking emotional baggage. Maybe it isn't so much with a guy, but that is a big thing to consider.

Jesse and DeAnna! I like the ring of that. They are so cute!! He was so glad to see her. My neighbors and I keep discussing how he isn't the hottest guy there, but we just love him the more we see him. I seriously hope he gets to stay. Their date starts with some horseback riding. I can totally see that Jesse wants to have this hot sexy kiss on the horses while in the ocean...have it all romantic like in the movies. Jesse, in the movies they have horse trainer and a million do-overs. It wasn't quite as great as I imagine he would have wanted it. Still cute though. DeAnna said that with Jesse it has been a stepping stone, the more she is around him, the more she falls for him...I FEEL THE SAME WAY!!

Up next is the dinner that leads to the overnight. I can't wait to see what he says and if he actually goes with her?? At dinner Jesse is showing more of a serious side. They talk about how many kids they want: DeAnna wants 3 kids right away, Jesse too wants to be a young parent. Then they discuss their living situation. Let me translate some of the upcoming Snowboarder Lingo: Breck- Breckenridge, Shredding- snowboarding, D- DeAnna. I feel so with it! So, Jesse asks D if she could you live in Breck for a few month a year because he "couldn't go cold turkey, I have to go shredding." I feel so cool with the lingo. DeAnna asks, "What are you going to do when there is no more snowboarding?" He still wants to be in sports, but also wants to be there to see his kids grow up. This guy is so much deeper than you would first think!

J: "I'm falling for you so hard...it feels so good..." Love it!!!

Ok, here is the letter...

J: I don't know if I can, until I meet your dad.

D: are you for real??

silence...

J: laughing...he was just kidding.

Man, he had me going!

Suite: it seemed liked the most romantic location...

J: If you chose me, I hope you're ready to marry me, cause that is where I'm out.

Ok, girly note: We all love how he grabs/holds the back of her head when he kisses her! Very sexy. Jason always holds her chin when they kiss, that bugs me!

I just took a neighbor vote and we all hope Jeremy goes because they just don't seem to have fun.

Rose Ceremony: My impression of the guys: Jeremy is perfect, Jason is one of the sweetest guys she has ever met, Jesse, started out as her friend but it has grown ever since. My impression of her dress: Way too short and totally like a bad 80s prom dress.

1st rose Jesse!!!!!! YES YES YES!!! I can't believe he got the first rose!

2nd rose Jason.

Man, I feel so bad for Jeremy. He looks super sad and can't even make eye contact with her. This is almost as bad as when Graham left. I hate the emotional music!!!

...I still cannot get over that dress...

Jer: I was all about you from the beginning. From the first second I saw you.
D: J you are perfect, perfect. I would have been the luckiest woman in the world ... we have a bond that I don't share with the other guys (she is meaning the loss of a parent)... I just didn't want to confuse that bond with being in love... OUCH!!!!

J: I don't think i have ever hard my heart broken like this. I love you. today could potentially be one of the worst days i have ever had..

(How could it be potentially the worst day ever? We are stumped on that one)

Although the goodbye was sad, it wasn't nearly as emotional as Graham departure!

Limo: J: stop the car for one second.. (Cindy says she thinks he has to pee) He needed fresh air i guess.

Well, I am happy to see that Jesse is staying. He is still my pick for her. We will have to wait until next week. I will post my Guys Tell All blog later today!

Until then, leave me your comments! I LOVE hearing from you.

Back to Blogging...

Things are crazy here. Since returning from our trip to Houston, which I will still blog about soon, we have encountered a viral rash, visits to the dermatologist, screaming yourself to sleep, a secret letter, and 2 new teeth. To get back into the blogging mood I will do a mini post full of randoms...

Before I left for Houston I went to a baby shower from my dear friend Monica. We started college together and our dorm rooms were next to each other. Although she moved on before I did, we have kept in touch and I was super excited to go to the shower. So, I left the the kids with my mom, where I later found out that Jillian refused to go to sleep and threw her sweet potatoes on the floor (God bless "gin-ga"), typed the address into the navigation system and started driving. It was a great shower where she got lots of great baby stuff! Monica is going to be a great mom for baby Ava Paige!
From L to R: Monica and Me!!

After posting the newest video on Being Two, my mom came home with this recorder from Dollar General..and yes, it is as annoying as you might expect. I will have to get in on video for your listening pleasure!

Here is Dave with his favorite things: The Ticket, the Astros and a drink with lots of caffeine!

This is how I found Gage the other morning. Maybe he is ready to start dressing himself!

I CANNOT wait for tonight. I am going to my neighbor's house, Cindy, to watch the Bachelorette!! Tune in later for my thoughts and summary of the show!

Bachelorette...Spoiler Alert: From 4 to 3-Hometown Dates

This post has links to the different foundations some of the guys have!!! Check them out!

Better late then never! Sorry I didn't post on Monday. We, the whole family, went to H-Town to visit Dave's parents. We had so much fun, but will post more on that later. I intended on putting the kids to bed and sitting down with a laptop instead of a pen and paper and blog about the bachelorette! Gage had other plans, which included a lot of screaming, climbing out of his pack-n-play and learning how to open the door to his bedroom (which was on the 2nd floor). So, I watched a bunch of Little Einsteins and called it a night. I had to pull out the mean mommy face, something that doesn't happen often.

So, this was the Hometown Dates episode! They started with a brief summary of DeAnna's feelings towards the guys. Did you know that Jeremy got the first rose, but Graham got the first kiss? Jesse is they guy that she says, "changed her mind." Graham is someone she feels very passionate about...ok, that is the update, lets get to the dates.

The first hometown date was with Jesse in Breckenridge, NC. Seriously, this guy is deep. I am loving him more and more. They meet on the slops, ready to snowboard. He gets hotter each episode. Last week I said I was really starting to like him and that feeling just got stronger this week. It was so cute how he was teaching her how to snowboard. DeAnna seems like the type of girl who likes adventure and Jesse can give that to her.

Did ya'll love his house? First, you see the HUGE tv, then the kitchen, where he labels his cabinets, then his snowboard gallery and his graphic of his foundation. Then his parents came over, and they made me love him even more!!! His dad wore this goofy hat with long hair sticking out underneath it. It set the mood of the evening to be fun and easy going. With that said, what a couple they are (the parents). They seemed so happy and honest and out to find the best in the situation. Both his parents shared how they had a hard time getting pregnant, and in fact, tried for 12 years before they finally quit trying and were blessed with Jesse. They named him Jesse because it means, "Gift from God." I appreciated the one on one times DeAnna had with both his mom and his dad. I just loved his family.

FINALLY Jesse kissed DeAnna on the carriage ride after his parents left. I felt for DeAnna when Jesse asked her if this was her first carriage ride, when she was actually on one a few weeks prior with Richard...this one was much better! Jesse seems like a true gentleman!

The next hometown date was with Jeremy in the Big D! Dallas, Texas! He picked her up on his bike and they drove around town. He was trying to sell her the city! I live here and I don't know if it is that great, but whatever, it has its ups and downs like anywhere else.

Do ya'll feel sad when you watch Jeremy? I sense sadness when I watch him. Maybe it is just the transmission from the tv, but he has such a past. Anyways, after the ride, they went to his condo. It was big and sterile. If Jesse's place exposed his personality, Jeremy's place showed none. I didn't see any family photo's or personal items. He has his study posters from the bar exam taped to his wall. Not Romantic!

His brother's and his sister-in-law came over for dinner. Something I thought was interesting was that Jeremy said this was the first time he had people over for dinner and he was glad it was his family and DeAnna. Either he just moved in or he doesn't do much socializing. I didn't know what to make of that. His older brother, Jason, seemed pretty unhappy with the purpose of the show. It seemed more like Jeremy is the youngest, but he is actually the middle child, with Patrick as the youngest. I say that because they seem very protective of him. It seemed like Jeremy was the closest with his mom. Did ya'll get teary when he read the journal about his mother's death? I did. I didn't think that was the best time to read that, with his family about to come over, but ok.

I am still not buying Jeremy for her. DeAnna did say to his brothers that she thinks he is perfect for her and meets all of the standards she has for a man, but is scared to accept it. I am surprised that he even went on this show. His brother Jason said that the last women to break his heart was his mother. It seems like the bachelorette is a big step to take back into the dating world!

The next hometown date was Jason. What a great reunion! When Jason saw DeAnna he started running towards her, they shared a big hug and both had huge smiles! It was so sweet, like something from Sleepless in Seattle, which is where Jason is fun, Seattle. DeAnna was nervous about meeting Jason's 3 year old son, Ty. I don't blame her. You never know how kids are going to react, especially at 3 years old. And, Jason has made it very clear that Ty is the most important thing in his life. Before they met up with Ty, they went to the top of the Space Needle and chatted. DeAnna shared that she wants 3 kids by 30. She is 26. Let assume she gets married at 27, that is a baby a year for 3 years. I had a baby a year for 2 years and I'm tired! God Bless her if that happens!

The reunion between Ty and Jason was so beautiful, and, of course, ABC conveniently played the emotional, heart-felt music during this scene. They both ran to each other and hug and rolled in the grass. I was as emotional as DeAnna was watching that! Jason kept saying, Daddy's not sad anymore. I wondered if he was sad because he was away from his son or if it had to do with his ex-wife? Probably the first.

As much as I loved Jesse's family, I loved Jason's more. They are not Greek, but made a full on Greek meal for DeAnna, welcoming her to their home. There to meet her were the parents and his brothers and sister. I loved that they made her feel welcomed. DeAnna did say that they way things were going with Jason, that she is falling in love!!

Oh Graham...
Where to begin? I wish this boy went to counseling for about 2 years before he met DeAnna. He has some issues for sure. I know that DeAnna has a passion for him, but that boy is like a turtle, when things get difficult, or he starts to have an emotion, he hides within himself. I am sure DeAnna was thinking/hoping that she would be the one to break him out of his shell and that his feelings for her would over-power his instinct to retreat...at least that is what I would have hoped for if I were her...more to that later.

This hometown date was in Raleigh, NC, where he grew up and where his parents live. They met at his high school where he said he grew up in the gym, playing ball. Their reunion was cute. DeAnna said "Graham is unbelievably smokin ’ hot. He’s my type 100 percent. I don’t really know how to explain it but I have this really passionate feeling toward Graham. He makes me feel like a giddy schoolgirl." It's must be true because that is how they were acting! Graham was smiling a lot more than I have ever seen him, plus, he looked tanner! Maybe he has been in Sean's tanning bed!

After playing some basketball, they chatted on the bleachers and then went to his parents house. His parents seem like the typical parents, but this conversation scared me:

DeAnna: “I’m worried that he’s not ready for me.”
Mom: “He’s not really had a lot of serious girlfriends. Finding someone that lasts past four weeks is difficult for Graham. He also doesn’t bring people in totally so he’s sort of lonely. Even though he’s got such a broad breadth of friends, he’s a little bit of a loner.”
DeAnna: “I feel like I’m falling for him more than he is for me.”
Mom: “You’ll make the decision that works for you.”

Graham, your mama's not on your side boy! Go to a counselor and work through things! You are to hot to waste away in your shell!

Graham and DeAnna spent some time on a bench where Graham, once again, turned into a turtle. DeAnna was opening up about how she felt about his and he was silent and looking away. SERIOUSLY!!!! GRAHAM, SNAP OUT OF IT! It was so frustrating. I could sense another Brad rejection on the way.

In the limo after the date, which ended badly, Graham didn't even kiss her goodbye, she said, "I’m disappointed. … I don’t know that I can spend the rest of my life begging Graham to fall in love with me.” Ouch!

Rose Ceremony:
First rose went to Jesse...YEA!
Second rose went to Jeremy...Boo!
Third rose went to...Jason or Graham? I was so torn. I have loved Graham, but that boy is a fixer-upper and a heart breaker. Jason seems great, but going into a relationship with a kid is a lot to take on!

Jason got the 3rd rose...and the drama wasn't over yet!

DeAnna walked Graham out and they sat on a bench. Graham's track record with chats on a bench are not good, future girlfriends beware! He finally got emotional though, but he didn't say anything. I wanted him to tell her to keep him, that he loved her and wanted her and would work on opening up. That she is sending the wrong guy home, that they could make a happy, passionate life together. Instead he let DeAnna say that she is sending home the one guy she was falling in love with because he couldn't open up to her. He gave her a letter and sent silently home in the limo...heart wrenching, totally heart wrenching.

If your aren't ready to let Graham go, check him out here or here!

I was still hoping that when they showed scenes from next week, that Graham would come running after her, but if it did happen, they don't show it. Next is the get aways with DeAnna in the Bahamas. They get to forgo their individual suites and share one with DeAnna if they choose. Jesse, sweet Jesse, said that he wasn't sure if he could do that until he met her father...sweet but a bid odd. It did make me love Jesse even more!!!!

I think Jason or Jeremy are the next to go.

But first, The Men Tell All...will Graham be there...
Until then, let me know your thoughts, I love reading all your comments!!!

Bachelorette...Spoiler Alert-From 6 to 4 (part two)

"I'm not the best looking guy. I'm not, like, some super model. I'm just me. I'm just Twilley."

I just finished part one of the Bachelorette, which was pretty much my recap of the boring "DeAnna Tells All", now on to the good stuff! With all the guys I made fun of gone, miss you Robert, the show was a bit more serious. The week with the guys was spent in Palm Springs, at the Parker resort. I want to stay there! The dates were as follows:
One on One: Sean
Group: Jesse, Jason, Graham, Twilley
One on One: Jeremy

First up was Sean. There date was dinner on a mountain top with the potential to have dessert in her suite. Because there were only 6 guys, there would no longer be any date night roses given away. The date started with Sean and DeAnna riding to the top of a mountain and poor DeAnna was like a kid at a horror show. She was so scared of heights that she was grabbing Sean and hiding her face in his shoulder. He, of course, was loving it all with his perfectly positioned hair and his skin fresh from a tanning session. They had a good dinner, but it seems like Sean always talks about himself and doesn't engage DeAnna to open up. They did kiss in a hammock, but he says "babe" way to much. He seems like a ghetto white boy if you ask me, which you didn't, but I'll tell you anyways! I'm am not into that!

Next was the group date with Jesse, Jason, Graham and Twilley. All the guys thought Twilley would get the last one on one date, and he was really upset that it wasn't him. This date was out in the desert, where they went 4-wheeling. That scares me. All I could think about was Ozzy Osburne. In true Bachelorette style, they got there via helicopter. Twilley got to ride in the heli with only DeAnna, this was his chance to have some alone time with her. Poor Twilley, this show is stacked against him. He gets motion sickness. DeAnna was scared he was going to puck all over her, and it looked like Twilly shared that fear. The other guys had a good laugh about what was happening during their heli ride.

Once they got to the dessert they had fun. DeAnna is a little monster on that 4-wheeler. She is a hard core girl! I think we got to see a lot about the guys personality on this date in how they rode their bikes. Jesse was in his element, showing off and unsuccessfully doing wheelies! DeAnna said this was the first time she really was into Jesse. I agree, he was a hottie out there. Jason drove in a straight line. Twilley was off on his own. Graham was no where to be seen...

After the bikes, they had a pool party. Wouldn't be a show without a little skin! Jason had the first one on one where they discussed what life is like in Seattle. It would be a time for her to play with Ty. He seems so caring and very sweet, but I wonder if he is lacking the passion she wants. Jesse was next up and man, he looked good in his suit! I am really liking him. I think he has more potential then Jeremy and Jason! She wanted him to kiss he so bad. She kept staring at his lips, but he seemed really shy! It was cute but frustrating! Graham stole her away and they went to a hammock. She is like a teenage boy when she is with him! He seemed more relaxed around her, which was good to see.

Jeremy had the last date, which was a one-on-one. DeAnna came to pick him up in an old school Cadi and they drove to Frank Sinatra's house. They did some bad karaoke and a little poolside dancing. I don't know what it is, but I am still not feeling Jeremy. We got to see more of him this episode, which I liked. He seems like a good guy and it really cute, but there is something missing from his eyes. Maybe it is a lifetime of hurt and loss, but I don't think it is going to happen with him. DeAnna did say "perfect guy" a couple of times when discussing her date with Jeremy.

The Rose Ceremony was a bit different. They guys arrived back in the masion and expected to see DeAnna there, but were alone. DeAnna decided to do the elimination right away as to not make the guys wait for the roses. I was hating this because I really wanted Jesse to have a chance to redeem himself and kiss her! Grrr!!!! I thought maybe he would request some alone time, but didn't. Bummer! It made me fear for his safety.

The first rose went to:

The second rose went to:

Ok, I felt like I really knew that she would choose Graham, but I was nervous about Jesse. DeAnna mentioned a couple times that she had a connection with Sean and I was so hoping that she would let him go and keep Jesse!

The third rose went to:

The final rose went to: (please let it be Jesse, please let it be Jesse, please let it be Jesse...)

Which means Twilley and Sean were sent home. It figures. They left in style and did not shed any tears!

Next episode is the hometown dates. It will be good. DeAnna gets to meet Ty and Graham's mom says that he has a hard time finding someone to last more than 4 weeks (ouch!). Should be good!!!

Until next time, let me know what you think...

(I think Graham or Jeremy will be the next to go...)

Bachelorette...Spoiler Alert-From 6 to 4 (part one)

Tonight was a 2 part series.

Here is Part 1: "DeAnna Tells All"

They have never done a half-way through tell all before, and frankly, it was pretty boring. They allowed DeAnna to give her take on the guys thus far and how she saw them both by watching the show and her alone time with them. If you have watched the episodes thus far, you pretty much knew everything they showed the first have of the tell all. On thing that made me feel good was that the was BEAMING when she said she had faith that her husband was there. I loved this show in the beginning because I thought true love was possible. With so many failed bachelor stories, you start to loose faith. DeAnna, like Trista, is doing this for the right reasons and with a level head. It think it will end happily.

This show also gave an update on Trista and Ryan, from the first Bachelorette! They make me want to go to Vail, CO. How cute are they? And Ryan is a HOTTIE!!! I love how emotional he is and how passionate he is for his family. Trista had a pretty rough pregnancy, but it ultimately led to Baby Max! He seems like a sweet little boy and has even inspired Trista to start her own business! I was also excited to hear that Trista is a Graham Groupie just like me.

Ok, this show got good (or better, good might be pushing it) when they gave an up-close look at the remaining guys.

It started with Jesse. I said this last week, and I will say it again, Jesse is growing on me! I loved that he said he has "Dude-Bro Hair!" He seems like a genuine guy and it really into her.

Next was Twilley, oh, Twilley! They showed the artist side of him and the more serious side that we don't see on the show. Not to much else there.

After that was Jason. He is an accountant but says his mom would describe him as crazy. i didn't know accountants were crazy, but we'll see. They showed a bit of his sweet son, Ty. One thing I noticed before, and noticed again tonight is that he always has his hand on her chin when they kiss. Interesting, but not really important.

Sean was next and man, he surprised me. That man is a metrosexual-like, hard core. He is so vain. First, he drives a Hummer. Second, he lives alone in a 5 bedroom house, which, might I add, has a sauna and a tanning bed! Seriously, a tanning bed. Has no one told him about skin cancer? Pale is the new tan! He lives one street away from his mom and said that DeAnna is going to have to accept that there is another very important woman in his life, his mom, whom he speaks to about 3 times a day. Really? It would be like Everybody Loves Raymond. Poor Deborah!

Then came Graham. He is so hot! It revealed that he really struggles with the other guys in the house, which we new after last weeks kiss debacle. He did say that when she looks at him, he feels very good about the potential. Man, I really like him, but I know he has to scare DeAnna about his commitment to the future.

Jeremy was last and they showed him in the BIG D!! He is a Dallas boy who likes to race motorcycles. He seems like a lonely guy. Does he have many friends? I don't know. But, a little insiders tip, I heard that he sold his part of his office space where he was an attorney. We'll see. I think that means she didn't pick him, but I don't know for sure.

My Sweet Little Biter

Well Miss Jillian, I just put you "nigh-night". It is something I love to do. Normally we read a couple of books, our favorites right now are Cuddle Up with Fury Critters and My First Words, nurse and then walk your room until your sweet fuzzy head rests on my shoulder, your thumb secured in your mouth. When I lay you down, still awake, I cover you up with your pink monogrammed bear blanket, kiss your head and tell you nigh-night. As I leave, I look at your sweet face peeking up over the edge of the crib, watching me go. You are the sweetest baby girl I could have ever received.

You turned 7 months just two days ago. The time has flown by with you as it has with your brother. You are getting so big and so cute! You make me laugh every day. It is an honor to call you my daughter. Last week was a very busy week for you. You bravely cut two teeth, both of which are on the bottom. They are like little white razor blades which you like to test out on our fingers. You also learned how to successfully get on all fours. You get so proud of yourself that you can only hold that position for a few seconds before collapsing and gyrating in excitement on the blanket. Another great achievement you completed last week was being able to sit on your bottom. I am not brave enough to leave you there with our support, so you either sit between someones legs or are cuddled by the Boppy. You love to have a new vantage point. Your brother, Gage, loves this too as he can see you more eye to eye. Just tonight, while Finding Nemo was on tv, Gage came down to your blanket where you were sitting, just to check you out and make sure you were happy. I can see already that he will be a loving and protective big brother for you.

Gage loves you so much. He often comes to your side to give you one, gentle stroke on your fuzzy noggin. That is all, not two or three, just one caress. When you cry, which is usually when you are poopy, he will say, "Jilly, No Cry" or "Jilly, Crying?!?!". It is pretty cute. Some of his other favorite terms for you are, "Jilly, No eat it" or "Silly Jilly". He came up with Jilly on his own. Your daddy and I discussed this as a nickname for you, but never mentioned it to him. He loves his little Jilly.

Some of my favorite things about you at this stage include the following, your sweet scrunchy face, when you get really excited, you wiggle your whole body, how you always smile when you see your brother, even if he isn't noticing you at the moment, your sweet face first thing in the morning, you always, always, always greet me with the BIGGEST smile. I love dressing you up. When I found out I was having a girl, I was a little concerned by the amount of accessories for you little ladies. However, I have embraced the girlie, and love to dress you up in some fun outfit with a matching bow or hat. I have the pictures to prove it! I love putting you to sleep, rocking you or walking with you until your head gets heavy. You still fit in my arms so perfectly!

One thing that I loved especially was nursing you. I take great pride as a mother in giving you the best nourishment I could provide. I did the same for your brother. I mentally prepared myself to nurse you both for a full year. Neither of you took bottles, so I planned to be near you for every feeding. It was never a bother or a hindrance, just part of my role for you. Unfortunately, like your brother, you both got teeth early and used them to bite mommy. Ouch! The past week has been a trial in the nursing arena. I decided today, after getting bitten every time I nursed, that I would stop breastfeeding you, my sweet little baby. It is something that brought many tears to my eyes, just like when I stopped nursing your brother. It is a bond that I will never be able to share with you again. It was a big way that I could show you I loved you.

With all that said, my Little Mama loves her Playtex bottle! You sucked down 6 ounces after I tried to nurse you on both sides (where you bite me both times!)! It made this ending a little easier. I hope you sleep well tonight. I will be pumping as long as my supply will allow and will know I can give you that part of me for a few more months.

Jilly Bean, my sweet Little Mama, I am honored to be your mommy and couldn't have picked a better daughter in all the world. I love you!

Mom

Thanks to Amy Howe for taking the great pictures. I can't wait for you to come back to take the rest!

My Sister's Keeper...Where you at??

I just finished the book tonight. I am not giving away any info, but I want to know where you are at in the book or if you are already finished. You don't have to give anything away, just want a report! The last week in June is when I will be asking a lot of the discussion questions. I will probably have a post each day that week with some new questions and characters to discuss. Feel free to comment more than once and reply to what others are saying as well.

Janelle, I want to see your comments on here too! Love you!

The Bachelorette...Spoiler Alert: From 9 to 6

"We'll get there...and when we do, I hope lightening strikes." Robert.
.
.
.
hold on....
.
.
.
I just threw up a little in my mouth.
.
.
.
more on Robert in a second.

Let's start from the beginning. What a great show. It has passion, anger, tears, tantrums...all the things I see from my 2 year old. The dates broke down as follows:
1 on 1: Jesse
Group: Brian, Twilley, Sean, Jeremy, Graham and Jason
2 on 1: Fred and Robert

The one on one date had to be earned rather than just given away. Envision American Idol meets the Bachelorette! The guys had 20 mins to write a song and then perform it for her. How humbling! Some of the gentleman felt confident, like Brian, who wrote "The House of my Pain", while others, Jesse and Graham, looked like they were going to pass out from the process. Jesse, in spite of his nerves, got down on one knee and gave a pitiful performance of his song, "DeAnna". It was, however, the most heart felt and selfless performances. It won him the honor of the one on one date with her.

They went to a theater where a table was set for two. Jesse, dressed in a brand new spiffy suit, looked great. Ya'll, I have to admit that he is totally growing on me. His appearance totally sets me back, he looks like a punk, but the more she is with him the more I see him making her really happy. He has a passion for honesty and family that I don't see in the other guys. I was really glad when she gave him the rose. They danced to Natasha Bedingfield. It was pretty romantic.

Next up was the group date. The guys were totally psyched to go to a race track with DeAnna. When the guys walked out in their racing suits, it was like a scene from Armageddon.

Sorry about the size, but these are the bachelors in their racing gear.

It was a good date. All seemed going well until after they all raced. Jeremy showed his competitive side, but ultimately Sean went the fasted and therefore got the first alone time with DeAnna. During that time, it seemed like he just talked about himself and didn't inquire much about her...turn off. I guess that worked for DeAnna since Sean was the one to get the group date rose.

I'm glad he lost the mullet, but I am not into him at all.

Jeremy actually started to change my mind about him on this group date. I saw a more manly side of him. I guess my main beef with Jeremy was that he didn't seems like a guys guy. This episode showed more of that, but he still bugs me. DeAnna sure is into him though. I thought the comparison that Twilley made regarding the tortoise and the hare was a good one. He pegged Jeremy as the hare and the other guys are the tortoise.

Then came Graham...oh Graham, buddy, you are letting me down...

He had some alone time with her where he pretty much turned down her request for a kiss because he said, "I don't want to be one of a bunch; I want to be different." Hello, all you guys out there, don't turn a girl down when she obviously wants a kiss...unless she is drunk of course. They were so touchy-touchy before that, but once that happened DeAnna was hurt and over it.

Between the dates, before the 2 one 1, the guys had a good idea to have a BBQ with DeAnna to hang out. Good intentions, bad reality. It was like a frat party and DeAnna was not invited. Rob threw a fit about something and went to pout by himself. Graham was avoiding her and all the other guys seemed content to hang with each other. DeAnna had a normal emotional-girl moment and let them have it, leaving the guys speechless. Good for her!

Next was the 2 on 1 date with Fred and Robert.

They spent the evening at a mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Let me get Fred out of the way. Super cute, super sweet, but Jesse put it best when he said, "I think Freddie was a good dude, but he was stuck in Friend-Zone." Robert was Robert. From my previous posts about this show, I haven't been a fan of his. He oozes hormones like a middle school kid in gym class. He had his shirt unbuttoned so much I could see his freshly waxed chest. He just bugs me. He was so into the connection and the chemistry and the chemistry and the connection. He and DeAnna had it according to him. He spoke with Fred prior to the date and said that the rose would come down to the first kiss, of course, because Robert is obsessed with sex...see above mentioned middle school boy reference. He went in for the kiss and DEANNA GAVE HIM THE CHEEK. I am sure her mama would have been proud. She sent him home without a rose without shedding a tear. Fred, who thought he would be staying, was sent home right after. DeAnna didn't feel "it" for him and tearfully said goodbye to a great man.

DeAnna goes back to the mansion, alone, but is met by Jason, the only man left in the house. It was a good position for him to be in.

The rose ceremony, which included a pool party where DeAnna had a swimsuit similar to the one I just got from Nordstroms, had enough roses for all but one bachelor. Graham finally got DeAnna alone. I kept hoping throughout the show that he would pull a Twilley and be waiting for her after he date, but he didn't. Here is my Graham theory. He is her fantasy. He is the compassionate lover, the best friend, the man you have hot dreams about, but will the reality of Graham live up to that fantasy? I don't know. I figured that Brian and Twilley would get the boot.

It turned out that Twilley stayed and Brian was sent back to Ft Worth. See you at the Stockyards Brian...

I think Twilley and Sean will be sent home next week.

Until then, let me know your thoughts!
