Most Amazing Invitations Ever

Since Gage's first birthday, we have been going to BabyCardExpressions. This is where we got Gage's birthday invite, Christmas cards, Jillian's birth announcement and now, Jillian's First Birthday invitation. Stacey does so amazing work and really caters to your needs. Plus, she has such a quick turn around time. I have nothing but great things to say about here.

As you can see, she is amazing...

This is the card with all the pictures, from birth to current. Don't you just love it?!?! And how cute is that red pettiskirt!?! I highly recommend her for any holiday that can be captured on paper! Check her out here! Tell her I sent you!

How to Boo Someone

This is a tradition our neighborhood participates in. Have I mentioned how much I love our neighborhood? I am posting this so that you all will start it up in your area. It is too easy!

Here's what you do:
1. Go to Target/Dollar Store (where ever) and buy 2 pumpkin baskets.
2. Fill them with candy and little goodies.
3. Inside each you also put a copy of the poem below (with instructions), and a piece of paper that says, "BOO".
4. Then proceed to follow the instructions below to keep the Boo-ing going!

The air is cool the season fall
Soon Halloween will come to all
The spooks are after things to do
In fact, a spook brought this to you“BOO” is a shield from witching hour
Just hang it up and watch its power
On your front door is where it works
It wards off spooks and scary jerks
The treats that came with crypted note
Are yours to keep, enjoy them both
The power comes when friends like you
Will copy this and make it TWO
Then others here among our friends
Will give warm fuzzies that do not end
We’ll all have smiles upon our faces
No one will know who “BOO”ed whose places
Just one short day to work your spell
Or a big ZAP will strike your tail
And don’t forget a nifty treat,
Like something cute or something sweet
Please join fun, let’s really hear it
And spread some “BOO”s and Halloween spirit.

Here's what you do:
1. Place BOO in your window for neighbors to see (after receiving a BOO).
2. Pass two "scare" packages on to your neighbors who haven't been "BOO"ed yet including poem and BOO pictures.
3. Watch to see the fun spread around the neighborhood.

Weekend at the Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend was so nice. We invited Nathan to come to our local pumpkin patch with us (Josh was out of town). We had so much fun. I wanted Gage in a cute Halloween shirt, but he insisted on wearing his Mickey Mouse pj top instead. Hey, pick your battles right?!?!

Fall Upon Us

I love Fall! Right now my windows are open, the air is fresh. We are going for tons of walks. Gage loves to look at all the Halloween/Fall decor in peoples yards. He started this ritual last year, where he has to walk up to every ones door and check out their pumpkins/scarecrows. He proceeds to turn around to look at me, put his hands on his hips and YELL, "MOOOOMMMM, Come HERE!!!" I of course tell him know because I don't want all of our neighbors to think I am casing the joint. It is all fun though. Here are our decorations for the fall!

I thought this angel was just to sweet. From Hobby Lobby!

Outside!

I am waiting a bit longer, but Market Street has these 40lbs pumpkins that are huge. I want to buy one, cute off the top, seed and gut it and then put Jillian in it to take pictures. How cute would that be!

Hope you all are enjoying the Fall, and make sure you decorate your houses!

Little Arts

Gage is adjusting so good in school. I now walk him in, let him hug his teacher who is waiting at the door, say goodbye and tell him to put away his backpack. He happily does it all! Every morning when he wakes up I ask him if he had any dreams.
The answer is the same, Yes!
I ask who he dreamed about. To which he replies, Ms Jenny, Ms Paige and Ms Jennifer (Jenefiner)...sometimes he might throw in another kids name, but he always says his teachers names!
Sometimes there are also dinosaurs or bears. He is just so cute.

Here are some of his masterpieces!

Today I bought...

These, they are like heaven on my feet!

And this. I am possibly going on a super fun adventure that would require a super hot/fun/sexy dress. I love this one and think it looks better on me b/c I am not a stick.
